TRADING FREEDOM FOR PEACE

Cindy Sheehan has announced she will continue fighting for peace. Putting aside the contradiction in terms, my question is “are Cindy Sheehan and her peace movement friends willing to fight for freedom, or does it mean that she and they are willing to give up freedom to have peace?

The simple truth is evident in the peace movement, freedom is not worth the price of peace. Peaceniks would rather be under a totalitarian regime and subject to its whims than fight for freedom. They are morally sick.

I don't think they know what they really want. They just want to hear themselves. Why did they not protest the Vietnam war until Nixon inherited it? Like if a democrat inherests Iraq I believe the protesting would end.

They don't care if they lose freedom as long as they have "peace." A price too high for me. NG
