Charles Krauthammer wrote in the Washington Post that “The Age of Obama begins with perhaps the greatest frenzy of old-politics influence peddling ever seen in Washington.” So much for change. He has given up the responsibility to craft the stimulus bill to Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid.
In a previous blog, I wrote that’s the first thing that will happen. Obama will get rolled by Reid and Pelosi. The only difference is that I thought it would happen during the first year and it’s happened in the first two weeks of his presidency. The OBAMA stimulus, since it will bear his name and Reid and Pelosi know full well that he will get the credit or the barbs, is an abortion. And since Obama believes in abortions in the last trimester, it’s not surprising that his stimulus, or “Porkulus” bill as it’s being called by some, is his aborted dead baby that will not only kill his baby but hundreds of thousands of babies into the future.
Obama’s ABORTION is dead, dead, dead. His administration is less than 2 weeks old and it looks like the grim reaper is about to take his bounty.
If this keeps up, as I’m sure it will, while Democrats control congress, the White House and soon the Supreme court, I predict Americans are going to long for the return of Republicans. Saddling our children, grandchildren and great grandchildren with trillions of debt is no answer. Obama’s beginning has been a torrent of errors and failure, from terrible appointments of mostly recycled Clinton hacks, to tax cheats and Chicago style politics with a penchant for preaching doom and gloom and economic collapse.
Cher was quoted as saying Republicans almost killed her. I have no doubt that Obama Democrats will finish the job. Not that she’ll be missed, considering her towering political intellect. Look out Cher, Obama’s driving headlong off the cliff of reason, you're in the back seat and America is watching with rapt attention to see if you'll go over it with him. I'm sure you'll be cheering him all the way to the jagged rocks and the abrupt stop.

There is one little fact you seem to have overlooked. That is that during the appointments democrats blocked nearly 50 per cent of all appointments and Stevens is an example of having to try to appoint someone who could pass the partisan problem. Clinton appointed 66 appellate court judges and 305 to the district court. Bush, appointed 61 appellate court judges and 261 for Bush. The number of blocks when Democrats took over in 2006 was sickening. It simply didn't happen when Clinton was president.
You may be right on the Supreme court justices. But one never knows. If Kennedy get's sick, it would tip the scale. Believe me, when you pass 70...all things are in question. Especially there is the possibility of incapacity for who knows why. Stevens was appointed with during a Democrat Congress....thus a question about the impact of partisanship to get him approved.
