She and Bill used it as their personal
revenge squad against anyone who disagreed with their political
beliefs, and of course, as revenge against Bill’s “bimbo eruption” women.

Patriotism has nothing to do with Buffett’s actions. As penurious as
Buffett is, it’s pure hypocrisy for him to demand we pay higher
taxes, which the IRS said he owed in this case, then claim he shouldn’t
have to pay higher taxes. It is so typically fiberal.

If fiberals want higher taxes--pay higher taxes. The fiberal agenda is one endless round of higher and higher spending, thus higher taxes with
the only purpose to gain and maintain power by buying votes. Sad to
say, Republicans are trying to buy votes by Congressional spending today.

There should be a line on IRS-1040 that says: as an avowed liberal I wish to pay a surtax of 30%.
Thus you get what you want, higher taxes.

Just keep your hands out of my pockets.NewsGnomehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15400754837781067020noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13097014.post-1130795687902401752005-10-31T13:54:00.000-08:002005-10-31T13:54:00.000-08:00Dear NG:You ignore my point about defending onesel...Dear NG:

You ignore my point about defending oneself against the IRS. That is probably news to a lot ...Buffet, a Liberal? That is probably news to a lot of people in the business community. His father was a GOP Congressman from Nebraska.

A more logical conclusion for BH defending itself against the IRS might just be that they don't want to be tagged as having done anything wrong. In this case it looks like they were vindicated. That would be a logical reaction any person would have when faced with a difference with the IRS.

Incidentally, BH owns Dairy Queen, Kirby Vacuum Co., RC Willey Furniture, Clayton Manufacturing (manufactured homes), and dozens of other US icons.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
