WHAT IS ENERGY’S BIGGEST PROBLEM?

Democrats are nuts. They have criticized what they call “Trickle Down Economics” as a total failure. But that’s exactly what Dems are trying to do with trickle down oil. Instead of focusing on supply, which America has in abundance, they are trying to stop Americans from using carbon energy.

Just think about it this way. Democrats want to stop you from driving by at least 50 to cut gas prices and are at this moment crafting legislation that will stop drilling, increase penalties on “carbon” users, and increase taxes on everything.

What would you have to stop doing if you decreased your driving my 50%. It’s all well and good to conserve, but not to drill is pure stupidity, especially when we have more shale oil than Saudi Arabia has oil reserves. Just think, America could be the number one oil exporter in the world if the Democrats would just take their heads out of the place where the Sun doesn’t shine.

I think they’re not just stupid, they’re crazy too. It will be 50 years before America has enough alternative sources to replace oil, and we have enough oil to meet the demand for that long. Wind is a joke. Ethanol is dangerous to food supplies, solar will be at least 50 years before it’s viable in any serious amount.

The biggest problem we have in Energy is not supply, but storage. All carbon coal and oil energy sources are, are storage systems. If we could store energy created by hydroelectric, solar, wind or anything else, to use when needed, we wouldn’t have a problem. But we’ve done precious little to research mass energy story capabilities. I think that should be a major thrust of any energy plan. Has anybody discussed this with the Energizer Bunny?

OBAMA PROPOSES WAR TO STOP WAR...SAY WHAT?

Barak Obama has essentially committed to war to stop all wars. Iran has belligerently threaten the destruction of Israel and to cut off the hands of anyone who tries to attack them. Now Obama is saying:

Two goals of his administration would be to secure all loose nuclear material during his first term and to rid the world of nuclear weapons, Obama told an audience before a roundtable discussion at Purdue University.

Obama is either mentally retarded or so ill-informed on foreign affairs as to be dangerous to assert that he can propose to impose the elimination of nuclear weapons as his central foreign policy. Just what will he do when Ahmadinejad tells him to go suck eggs. Will be walk away humiliated and America weakened in the eyes of the rest of the world, or will he call out the bombers to force his policy on those who refuse to abide by it?

The man is such an incredible lightweight when it comes to long term implications of proposed foreign policy it is mind boggling.

AP Exclusive: U.S. Removes Uranium From Iraq

Saturday, July 5, 2008 3:00 PM

The last major remnant of Saddam Hussein's nuclear program -- a huge stockpile of concentrated natural uranium -- reached a Canadian port Saturday to complete a secret U.S. operation that included a two-week airlift from Baghdad and a ship voyage crossing two oceans.

The removal of 550 metric tons of "yellowcake" -- the seed material for higher-grade nuclear enrichment _ was a significant step toward closing the books on Saddam's nuclear legacy. It also brought relief to U.S. and Iraqi authorities who had worried the cache would reach insurgents or smugglers crossing to Iran to aid its nuclear ambitions.

Editor’s note: Notice how the Associated Press released this information on a Saturday afternoon of a holiday weekend when the readership and potential publication was at the lowest possible point. And you think AP and the mainstream media aren't biased? JOSPEH WILSON WHERE ARE YOU WHEN WE NEED YOU TO EXPLAIN THAT SADDAM DIDN'T HAVE ANY YELLOWCAKE OR TRY TO BUY ANY!

THE WORLD IS DEAD, WE JUST THINK WE’RE ALIVE

I decided to collect some of the headlines that say global warming is causing all the problems of the world. What becomes apparent is just what a joke they are...here are a few of the things global warming is doing...sending plants uphill, reducing travelers at Dutch airports, ending whisky, increasing shark attacks, spoiling parties for beer lovers, killing off the woolly mammoths, wiping out penguins, forcing Santa to wear shorts, hitting kids harder than adults, threatening more heart attacks, dividing Republicans, hitting the poor harder than the rich, reducing coffee production and making generals worry (isn’t that their job?) Below is a list of headlines where global warming was the culprit in all that is evil...and guess what, earth’s temperature has been on a ten year decline since 1998.

I think we have a case of mass hypnotic hysteria brought on by that Nobel Prize winning snake oil salesman, whose carbon foot print is 100 time worse that the average American, Al Gore.
